Perry-Lecompton Golf Wins Home Invite at Lake Perry

The Perry-Lecompton boys golf team won their home invitational at Lake Perry Country Club on Thursday afternoon. 

The Kaws finished the day with a team score of 326 while Jefferson West finished right behind in second place with a score of 327. 

Basehor-Linwood (336), Baldwin (336), and St. Marys (336) rounded out the top five in the team standings. 

Perry-Lecompton posted four inside the top 15 with Toby Wagner in eighth with a 79, Colton Bahnmaier in 12th with an 81, Ethan Tolbert in 13th with an 83, and Walker Gray in 14th with an 83. 

Colton Berens led Jefferson West with a 79 which was good for seventh place while Gage Moser finished in 10th place with a score of 80. 

John Ward of Basehor-Linwood won the tournament with a score of 74. 

Other notable top 10 finishes included Jackson Snowden of Atchison in third with a 76, Ben DeVader of St. Marys in fifth with a 78, and Jackson Lionardi of Atchison in ninth with an 80.
