Valburg Goes 2-Under as Onaga Golf Wins Home Tournament

The Onaga boys golf team won their home tournament on Monday afternoon at Cool Springs Golf Course. Complete tournament results can be found here. 

The Buffs took care of the field finishing the day with a team score of 327. Leading the way was the tournament winner in Graham Valburg who fired a 2-under round of 70. 

Joshua Daniels finished in sixth with an 85, Koy Nider finished in seventh with an 86, and Maddix Blacksmith finished in eighth with an 86. 

Centralia finished the tournament in second place with a team score of 346. The Panthers were led by Tyler Jones who finished runner-up with a round of 80. Bronx Talley finished fourth place with an 83, and Blake Broxterman finished in 10th with an 88. 

Other notable top 10 finishes came from Hayden Bruna (Hanover) in third with an 82, Tucker Huband (Washington County) in fifth with an 84, and Noah Hoover (Washington County) in ninth with an 88.
