Jeff West Girls Golf Win Council Grove Invitational

The Jefferson West girls golf team won the Council Grove Invitational at Council Grove Country Club on Thursday afternoon. 

The Tigers finished with a team score of 370 while Osage City finished in second place with a score of 392. Council Grove finished third at 408 and Marion in fourth place with a score of 533. 

Jeff West had five players finish inside the top 10 led by Dearah Garrett who finished third with a round of 89. Addison Fechter finished fourth with a 91, Izzy Higgins finished in sixth with a 95, Taryn Taylor finished seventh with a 95, and Megan Malone finished ninth with a round of 100. 

Peyton Pitts of Osage City won the tournament with a round of 82 while Haylie Grant of Council Grove finished in second place with a round of 87.
