KVA Week One Rankings

The Kansas Volleyball Association have released their week one rankings with plenty of area squads highlighted once again.

Starting in Class 1A-I the Centralia Panthers dropped down a couple of spots to #4 while Clifton-Clyde dropped down from #3 to #8.

In Class 1A-II, the Hanover Wildcats dropped out of the top spot after a couple of early season losses and stand at #3 this week behind only Ingalls and Marais Des Cygnes Valley. Linn is off to a strong start and they were bumped up a spot from #9 to #8.

Rossville made one of the biggest jumps in Class 2A as the Dawgs vaulted from #10 to #4 while Valley Heights took a tumble down from #2 to #10.

Four of the top 10 teams in Class 3A come out of the Big East League with Silver Lake tabbed as the new #1 team in the state. The Eagles have been strong to start and the rankings prove that as they jumped from #8 to that top spot.

Nemaha Central started the season at #2 but have taken a few early season losses as they dropped a few of spots to #6. Both Riley County and Jefferson West have entered the ranks for the first time in 2025 with the Falcons ranked #8 and the Tigers ranked #10.

The Holton Wildcats continue to hold a strong spot in the 4A rankings as the Wildcats moved up a few spots from #9 to #5.
