Silver Lake Boys Finish First and Girls Finish Second at Home Track Meet

The Silver Lake track and field teams posted a strong showing at their home meet on Tuesday afternoon. The girls finished in first place while the boys finished in second place. 

The Lady Eagles finished the meet with 114 points while West Franklin finished in second place with 96 points and Wellsville in third place with 92 points. 

Jefferson County North (66), Maur Hill-Mount Acadmy (62), Frankfort (60), Jackson Heights (43), McLouth (16), and Council Grove (8) rounded out the team scores. 

The Silver Lake boys finished in second place with 102.5 points behind only Council Grove who won the meet with 103 points. 

Wellsville finished in third place with 93 points, West Franklin finished in fourth place with 70.5 points, and Jefferson County North finished in fifth place with 64 points. 

Jackson Heights (58), Maur Hill-Mount Academy (27), Frankfort (20), Cornerstone (15), and McLouth (5) rounded out the team scores.
