Jefferson West Boys Golf Win Osage City Invitational

Area boys golf teams competed at the Osage City Invitational on Thursday, April 17 at Osage City Municipal Golf Course. 

The Jefferson West Tigers captured the tournament victory with a team score of 351 with St. Marys finishing in second place with a score of 371. 

Council Grove (376), Osage City (376), and Burlington (392) rounded out the top five team scores. 

St. Marys had the individual champion with Alex Gallego being the only player to break 80 with a round of 77. 

Gage Moser of Jefferson West finished alone in second place with a round of 81 while teammates Daniel Magathan and Jace Coleman finished inside the top six with rounds of 87 and 88 respectively.
