1A Regional Volleyball Headlines

Class 1A regional volleyball matches were held on Tuesday night with area teams advancing to Saturday's sub-state round. 

In 1A-II, #1 ranked Hanover went 2-0 defeating Peabody-Burns and Tescott to advance with a regional title. 

Linn was hosting with Axtell alongside from the TVL and they finished first and second respectively to advance. Linn won the head-to-head vs. Axtell while they both got wins over Chase and Burrton. 

In 1A-I, Centralia advanced with a 2-0 night beating Lincoln and Washington County. The Tigers advanced as well as they finished runner-up. 

Troy went 2-0 on their home court with wins over Blue Valley-Randolph and Frankfort. The Rams defeated Frankfort to finish runner-up and advance. 

6-seeded Onaga won at Clifton-Clyde defeating the Eagles and Wakefield while Clifton-Clyde finished runner-up.
