Silver Lake Volleyball Wins Home Tournament

The Silver Lake volleyball team won their home tournament on Saturday going a perfect 5-0. The Eagles defeated Perry-Lecompton, St. Marys, and Chapman in pool play before defeating Rossville in the semifinals and Perry-Lecompton in the championship. 

The Kaws would finish runner-up as they defeated St. Marys and Chapman in pool play along with Jefferson West in the semifinals. 

Jefferson West would finish in third place as they defeated Rossville in the consolation final. 

Royal Valley finished the tournament 3-1 but didn't make it out of pool play because of the tiebreaker. They lost to Rossville in pool play but defeated St. Marys in the consolation round. 

Both St. Marys and Sabetha finished the tournament with 1-3 records.
