Silver Lake Volleyball Wins Rossville Tournament

The Silver Lake volleyball team won the Rossville Invitational over the weekend going a perfect 5-0. 

The Eagles beat Tonganoxie, Wamego, and Holton in pool play and then defeated Ottawa in the semifinals before taking down Rossville in the championship match. 

Rossville finished in second place as they defeated Pleasant Ridge, Osage City, and Ottawa and pool play and then defeated Holton in the semifinals before the loss to Silver Lake in the championship match. 

Holton finished in third place followed by Ottawa in fourth. The Wildcats went 2-1 in pool play with wins over Wamego and Tonganoxie. 

Tonganoxie, Wamego, Osage City, and Pleasant Ridge rounded out the bottom half of the tournament places.
