Silver Lake Girls Golf Takes Third at Wamego

The Silver Lake girls golf team finished in third place on Thursday afternoon at a nine-hole tournament hosted in Wamego. 

Wamego won the tournament with a score of 173 while Topeka High finished in second place with a score of 203. Silver Lake was one stroke off Topeka with a 204. 

Holton would finish in fifth place while Rossville finished in ninth place out of the 11 team field. 

Addison Douglass of Wamego won the tournament shooting a 34. Silver Lake's Taylor Zordel finished in third place with a round of 44. 

Holton's top finish was from Elisa Bartel as she finished tied for sixth place with a 46. Rossville's best finish was also in that group tied for sixth place and that was from Elly Sanders. 

Holton also had Amanda Taylor finish in the top 10 with a score of 48. Complete results from the tournament can be found here.
