Nemaha Central Cross Country Wins Marysville Invite

The Nemaha Central cross country team started their 2024 season with the boys winning the Marysville Invite over the weekend. 

Harry Langill finished in second place, Lane Mosteller sixth, Collin Jost 10th, Braxton Cain 12th and Elijah Ruegge 14th.

Charlie Lukert of Sabetha won the event with the Bluejays finishing fifth place as a team. Marysville finished in second, Riley County in third, and Axtell in fourth. 

On the girls side, Riley County won the event with Anna Lambert winning the meet followed by Belle Smith of Doniphan West. 

Maddy Mosteller of Nemaha Central finished in fourth place followed by Keelyn Rempe of Centralia in fifth place. 

Centralia placed second followed by Nemaha Central, Sabetha, and Troy in the team standings.
