KEMFA All-Star Games to Kickoff This Saturday

The Kansas Eight-Man Football Association is having its annual All-Star games this Saturday, June 8th in Beloit.

The Division II game will begin at 1:30 p.m. with plenty of area talent being showcased.

The East squad will be head-coached by Frankfort’s own Nick Anderson. On the team, he will be coaching two of his own players, Brock Armstrong and Wyatt Keller. The Wildcats made it all the way to the sub-state round before losing to the eventual state champion Axtell Eagles.

As for Axtell, they will have three players representing. Grady Buessing and Grant Buessing will suit up along with Sawyer Deters. Axtell is the only team on the east squad to have three players. All three of the seniors played a major part in the Eagle’s three consecutive state titles.

Linn’s Gavin Turk and Hanover’s Levi Griffith will join them on the east squad.
