Nemaha Central Girls and Axtell Boys Win NC Invitational
The Nemaha Central girls and Axtell boys won the Nemaha Central Invitational Track & Field event on Tuesday afternoon.
The NC girls finished the day with 138 points while Marysville finished in a close second with 134 points. Royal Valley (68), Jefferson County North (48), Doniphan West (47), Troy (42), Axtell (38), Rock Creek (36), Sabetha (32), Jackson Heights (20), and Riverside (3) rounded out the team scores.
The Axtell boys finished the day with 149 points while Nemaha Central finished in second place with 106 points. Marysville (83), Sabetha (74.5), Royal Valley (73), Jefferson County North (60.5), Doniphan West (33), Jackson Heights (21), Rock Creek (2), Riverside (1), and Troy (1) rounded out the team scores.
