Onaga Boys Golf Win Tournament at Valley Heights

The Onaga boys golf team won the Valley Heights Invitational on Friday at Waterville Golf Course. 

The Buffaloes finished with a team score of 343 and placed three inside the top six. Konnor Nider tied for second with a 78, Graham Valburg finished fourth with a 79, and Koy Nider finished sixth with an 89. 

Valley Heights finished fourth with a score of 385 but had the individual champion in Jayden DeWalt who shot a 77. 

Washington County and Centralia finished second and third respectively with scores of 360 and 380. The Tigers had Carson Kearn finish in a tie for second place with a 78 while the Panthers had three golfers tie for eighth place with a 94. Those golfers were Reese Tanking, Paxton Bowers, and Gage Wimberly. 

Frankfort finished fifth place with a team score of 388 and had a top 10 finish from Chase Stallbaumer who shot an 85 which was good for fifth place.
