JCN Volleyball Falls in Sub-State Title Game to Maranatha

The Jefferson County North volleyball team had their season come to an end in the Sub-State Championship as they lost to Maranatha Christian Academy in straight sets. 

The Eagles were able to beat the Chargers 25-18, 25-18 to advance to the Class 2A State Tournament next weekend in Dodge City. 

JCN beat Oskaloosa 25-15, 25-8 in the first round and Maur Hill-Mount Academy 25-11, 25-13 in the semifinals to advance to the championship. 

The Eagles beat Riverside 25-17, 25-11 in the first round and Pleasant Ridge 25-19, 15-25, 25-21 in the semifinals to get to the championship. 

JCN finishes their 2023 season with a record of 32-7 while Maranatha heads to the State Tournament with a record of 31-8.
