Jefferson County North sweeps Jackson Heights Tri

The Jefferson County North volleyball team went 2-0 on Tuesday night at the Jackson Heights Triangular defeating the Cobras and Maur Hill-Mount Academy.  

The Chargers (15-4, 9-1) defeated the Ravens 25-19, 25-9 and the Cobras 25-16, 25-20. 

The Ravens (12-5, 7-3) finished the night 1-1 as they defeated Jackson Heights (5-12, 3-7) 25-19, 25-22. 

The Cobras honored their four seniors on senior night with Michaela Hutfles, Dawson Cochren, Lillian Brown, and Alexandria Rollins. 

Pleasant Ridge still holds the top spot in the NEKL standings after Tuesday's action at 10-0 while JCN is one game back at 9-1 and the Ravens three games back at 7-3.
