Wetmore Lands Three 6-Player All-Star Classic Roster

The Wetmore Cardinals are coming off a season at the 6-Man level where they finished with a record of 7-3. 

Wetmore made it all the way to the quarterfinal round before losing to eventual state champion Cunningham. 

The Cardinals will have three players representing the school on Saturday, June 3rd in the 4th Annual Kansas 6-Player All-Star Classic. 

Those players are Dierk Hanzlicek, Jacob Carls and Kyler Wommack. 

The game will be played on the campus of Bethel College in Newton and will kickoff at 1:00 PM. 

The 2022 season marked the first season in which KSHSAA sponsored 6-Man football although 6-Man football has been going on since 2016.
