Garber, Olberding, Atkins Will Represent Their Schools One Final Time at KBCA All-Star Games

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released its rosters for their All-Star Games which will take place on June 24th at Kansas Wesleyan’s Mabee Arena in Salina.

A total of 24 girls and 24 boys from schools across the state and across all classifications will be competing this summer, including some of our area athletes.

Doniphan West head coach Perry Smith will be on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the Blue Squad after their Class 1A-Division 1 state championship. He will be alongside head coach Chris Beikmann from Hanover.

Jackson Heights superstar Kanyon Olberding will be on the Blue Squad and will be playing with Ceegan Atkins from Hanover.

On the boys’ side, Matthew Garber will lace ‘em up one more time representing the Sabetha Bluejays after an immaculate 2022-23 regular season. He will be playing for the Blue Squad and is the lone player from our area playing in the boys’ game.

The girls games will start at 6 p.m. and the boys game will follow at 7:30 p.m. For a look at the full rosters, click here.
