Perry Lecompton Boys Finish First Place at Wabaunsee

The Perry Lecompton boys track and field squad finished in first place on Thursday at the Wabaunsee Invitational. 

The Kaws finished with 162 points ahead of second place St. Marys (104) and third place Cornerstone Family (81). 

The Northeast Kansas Nighthawks and Rossville rounded out the top five in the team standings. 

The Kaws dominated with a bevy of first place finishes along with sweeping all of the relay events. 

The Wabaunsee girls finished in first place with a team score of 102 followed by Rossville in second place and St. Marys in third place. 

The Perry Lecompton girls finished in fifth place with a team score of 63 points which was 14 points behind fourth place Northeast Kansas Nighthawks.
