Perry Lecompton Boys Win OT Thriller to Advance to State Tournament
The Perry Lecompton boys basketball team won an overtime thriller on Saturday night over Heritage Christian 73-66 to claim the Sub-State Championship.
The win for the Kaws advance them to the 3A State Tournament this week in Hutchinson.
The 3A bracket is loaded and the Kaws at 19-4 earned the 7-seed and will face 2-seed Southeast of Saline in the first round on Thursday, March 9th at 6:00 PM.
Southeast of Saline enters the tournament with a record of 22-1 overall. We'll have coverage of the Kaws in Hutchinson with their tournament run broadcast on KNZA 103.9 FM.
