Horton Boys Beat Riverside to Claim Sub-State Title and Advance to State
The Horton boys basketball team are off to the 2A State Tournament this week as they won the Sub-State Championship on Saturday night over Riverside 57-35.
Head coach David Losey took over the program this season after the Chargers went 7-14 last season.
This season, they are 15-8 overall and they finished tied for second place in the Northeast Kansas League.
The Chargers will have a tough draw in the first round in Manhattan as they're the 7-seed and they will face 2-seed Hays-TMP on Wednesday, March 8th at 6:00 PM at Bramlage Coliseum.
