Coach Santo reaches 400 career wins

(KLZA)-- The Falls City Sacred Heart girls basketball team defeated Elmwood-Murdock 40 – 31 Tuesday night.

The Irish improved to 8-0 on the season and with the victory, Head Coach Luke Santo has now reached the 400-win plateau.

Santo is 400 – 57 in his 17th season as the Head Coach of the Irish girls. That is a winning percentage of 87.5%. His teams are averaging 24.9 wins per season.

In 16 full season Coach Santo has led 15 teams to the State Tournament picking up 4 state championships, 3 runner-up finishes and 5 third place finishes. 7 times at State the Irish lost to the eventual state champions.
