Benedictine defeats MNU to Capture South Championship in Heart of America Conference

No. 6 Benedictine Defeats MNU, 43-21, to Capture Heart South Division Conference Championship

With its 43-21 road victory over conference rival MidAmerica Nazarene on Saturday, No. 6 nationally ranked Benedictine College captured the Heart of America Athletic Conference Football South Division Conference Championship.

This is the first Heart Football Conference title for the Ravens since 2018, and the 10th Heart Conference title in program history.

Under second year head coach Joel Osborn, the Ravens improved to 10-1 and went 5-0 in the Heart South.

Benedictine has now earned an automatic berth to the 67th Annual NAIA Football Championship Series, with the first round upcoming on November 19. BC is the #1 seed in Region 2 and will host Southwestern College (9-1). Live coverage of Raven athletics continues on KAIR 93.7 FM and free online
