Nemaha Central Volleyball Captures Big 7 League Crown and Top Seed in Sub-State

The Nemaha Central volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 2-0 evening against Hiawatha and Riverside. 

The two wins for the Thunder earned them the Big 7 League Title for the 2022 season. They also enter Saturday's Sub-State Tournament with the #1 seed and an overall record of 39-1. 

The Thunder are the clear cut #1 team in Class 3A and have been atop of the KVA rankings for most of the season. 

They enter Sub-State with 28 straight wins with Sub-State beginning on Saturday in Seneca. We'll have coverage on Kanzaland Radio. 

The Seneca 3A Sub-State includes Nemaha Central, ACCHS, Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Hiawatha, Royal Valley, Bishop Ward, Jefferson West, and Sabetha.
