Nemaha Central Wins Wamego Invitational For Third In-Season Tournament Title

The Nemaha Central Thunder volleyball team continued its near perfect 2022 campaign with a Wamego Invitational championship this past Saturday.

They defeated 4A #2 Circle in straight sets 25-18, 25-17 to clinch the title. With the win, the Thunder are now 25-1 on the regular season and are the #1 team in Class 2A, according to the Kansas Volleyball Association rankings.

This was their third in-season tournament win.
