Hiawatha Volleyball Wins HIT for 4th Straight Season

The Hiawatha volleyball team had a successful weekend as they won the Hiawatha Invitational Tournament for the fourth consecutive season on Saturday (9/17). 

The Redhawks went a perfect 6-0 with wins over Troy (25-9, 25-14), Bishop Seabury (25-16, 25-10), Jefferson County North (25-19, 25-21), Doniphan West (25-9, 25-18), Horton (25-10, 25-17), and Centralia in the Championship (25-13, 25-20). 

Hiawatha is now 13-3 overall and have won 10 straight matches and all 10 have been in straight sets. 

Centralia finished second followed by Doniphan West in third and Lafayette in fourth. 

Up next for Hiawatha, they'll be at the Royal Valley Tri on Tuesday night (9/20).
