Jefferson County North Volleyball Drops First Match in Pool Play at 2A State Tournament

The Jefferson County North volleyball team entered the 2A State Tournament in Dodge City as the 3-seed with a record of 33-7 overall. 

Garden Plain entered as the 6-seed with a record of 30-9 and made quick work of the Chargers in the first match of pool play, winning 25-17 and 25-20. 

JCN will more than likely need to win their next two matches against 7-seed Shawnee Maranatha and 2-seed Ellinwood to earn a spot in the semi-finals on Saturday. 

JCN is scheduled to face Shawnee Maranatha at 5:30 PM and Ellinwood at 8:30 to wrap up the day one action in Dodge City.
