Jefferson County North Cross Country Sweeps at Jackson Heights
The Jefferson County North Cross Country teams swept the meet at Jackson Heights on Tuesday with the girls and boys both finishing in first place.
Bowie Weishaar won the girls 5K by nearly nine seconds. JCN also posted two more inside the top ten with Ivy Fujibayschi finishing in fourth and Sydney Myers in sixth.
Zetta Noll and Kaley Olberding also with strong finishes as they tallied 12th and 14th place finishes respectively.
The JCN boys finished ahead of Valley Falls and Jackson Heights in the team standings as they posted three inside the top five.
Cole Burk, Isaac Kane and Trent Meredith finished 3rd, 4th and 5th place respectively.
Jackson Heights did have the top two individuals with Daniel Little and Nate Linck finishing in the top two spots.
