Nemaha Central Sweeps Tri at Holton and Push Win Streak to 12

The Nemaha Central volleyball team ran its win streak to 12 with straight set wins over Holton and Hiawatha at the Holton Triangular on Tuesday night. 

The Thunder moved within a half game of Hiawatha for the top spot in the Big 7 league standings after defeating Holton 25-16, 25-18 and Hiawatha 25-20 and 25-19. 

Hiawatha split as they swept Holton in straight sets 25-17 and 25-19. The Red Hawks are now 20-3 overall and 10-1 in Big 7 league play while the Thunder are 24-3 overall and now 9-1 in Big 7 league play. 

Holton drops to 5-17 overall and 3-5 in Big 7 league play.
