Sabetha Boys Place Two in Top 10 at Wamego
The Sabetha boys cross country team posted a solid finish in Wamego on Saturday posting multiple runners inside the top 10.
Sophomore Kalvin Evans and senior Tyrese Bishop finished in 8th and 9th respectively. The Sabetha boys as a team finished 5th overall and also had senior Cameron Harrell finish 30th.
The Marysville boys also had a strong showing led by sophomore Silas Miller who finished 2nd place individually behind Christ Prep Academy's Jayden Brethour.
Marysville finished 4th as a team behind Christ Prep Academy, West Franklin and Bennington.
The Christ Prep girls also won the event but Doniphan West senior Elle Williams, who was a recent athlete of the week finished in 11th place individually. Junior Claire Cole also with a strong showing finishing in 17th place.
