Volleyball Recap from Tuesday Night 9/7

Complete List of results from Tuesday 9/7

It was a busy night across the Kanzaland area as teams continued their high school volleyball seasons. 

In the Twin Valley League, it was Centralia going 2-0 at Wetmore while Doniphan West went 1-1 and Wetmore 0-2. Valley Heights goes 3-0 at Onaga while Linn went 2-1, Clifton Clyde 1-2 and Onaga 0-3. Frankfort goes 2-0 in their Tri with Troy and Axtell. Axtell defeated Troy going 1-1 while Troy finished 0-2. Hanover goes 2-0 with wins over Washington County and Blue Valley. Washington County also picked up a win over Blue Valley. 

In the Big 7 League, Hiawatha picked up a pair of wins over Sabetha and Jefferson West. Sabetha split on the night as they defeated Jefferson West. Nemaha Central went 2-0 at Perry-Lecompton while the Kaws went 1-1 and Holton 0-2. Royal Valley completed a sweep over Riverside in straight sets. 

In the Northeast Kansas League, Maur Hill had a good night with straight set victories over both Oskaloosa and Horton while Oskaloosa picked up a win over Horton. Jefferson County North won at McLouth with straight set wins over McLouth and ACCHS. McLouth picked up a victory as well over ACCHS in straight sets. Pleasant Ridge won their Tri with wins over Jackson Heights and Valley Falls in straight sets while Jackson Heights picked up a win over Valley Falls. 

Also, Atchison was great last night in a straight sets win over KC Wyandotte 25-7, 25-10 and 25-9.
