Six Local Baseball Players Named KABC All-State

The high school baseball season wrapped up last week and with that the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches has released the all-state teams for the year.

In Class 3A the Nemaha Central Thunder earned two guys onto the first team in senior Landen Baker as a utility player and senior Tyler Gerety as a designated hitter.

In the 2-1A classification the state runner-up Valley Falls Dragons had one first team selection in junior Avery Gatzemeyer who earned the nod at pitcher.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy added two first team selections in sophomore Parrish Beagle at third base and junior Drew Caudle in the outfield.

The Ravens added one more honorable mention selection, as senior Aaron Noll earned the nod as an outfielder.
