Six Area Teams Highlight Week Seven High School Football State Rankings

Six weeks of the high school football season are in the books and the newest set of state rankings have been released featuring five area teams.

The rankings remain unchanged from a week ago across the board and in Class 3A the Perry Lecompton Kaws are still ranked second following a 58-6 win over Osawatomie which sets up a matchup with No. 3 Hayden Friday night.

In Class 2A Maur Hill-Mount Academy remains ranked fifth despite not playing last week due to COVID with the Ravens expected to miss this week as well.

The Class 1A rankings remain unchanged with Centralia ranked second following a 36-6 win over Beloit last week.

The final two ranked teams come in 8-man as Clifton-Clyde is fourth in division one following a loss at 8-man division two Hanover who is ranked second while Frankfort is fifth.
