Valley Heights Volleyball Leads Area Teams at Axtell Invitational

Axtell Volleyball Invitational – Scores.

Area high school volleyball teams were in action Saturday competing at the Axtell Invitational and the best area finish came from Valley Heights who came in third.

The Mustangs went 2-1 in pool play before falling to Falls City Sacred Heart in the semifinals and then a win over Frankfort in the third-place match.

As to Frankfort the Wildcats also went 2-1 in pool play before losing to Diller-Odell in the semifinals and then the loss to Valley Heights in the third-place match to take fourth.

The only other area team competing was Axtell and the Eagles failed to pick up a win on the day.
