Four Area Teams Highlight Week Four High School Football Rankings

It is week four of the high school football season and with that the newest set of state rankings have been released featuring four area teams.

In Class 3A just one team is ranked this week in Perry Lecompton who is ranked second following a 28-14 win over then No. 3 Holton last week.

Class 1A features two area teams as Valley Heights is ranked second at 3-0 and Centralia third at 2-1 with these two teams set to meet up Friday night in what should be one of the states biggest games.

The final ranked area team comes in 8-man DII as Axtell is ranked third following a 64-18 over Rock Hills last week setting up a huge matchup with second-ranked Hanover Friday night with live coverage on 92.1 KMZA.
