Northeast Kansas League Releases Revised Summer Baseball Schedule

NEKL Summer Baseball – Schedule

While the 2020 legion baseball season was cancelled by the Kansas State American Legion earlier this month, the Northeast Kansas League has released their condensed schedule for the summer. 

While the league will have no affiliation with the American Legion nor will teams have zone or state tournaments, NEKL teams will play near a full schedule. 

The league will adopt legion baseball rules along with high school rules as follows: 

Pitch count and line-ups will be HS rules except that you may bat 10.  May DH for any player.

Run rule will be 10 after 4, 8 after 5.

No fake to 3rd , throw to 1st - this will remain a balk

Pitcher must be removed following 2 mound visits from coach in same inning.
