Three Area Teams Ranked in Final Cross Country Poll of 2019

Poll #4 Cross Country – Rankings

The high school cross country season is set to come to a close Saturday with area teams competing at their respective state meets and with that the final cross country rankings of the year have been released. 

In Class 1A the Doniphan West girls and Axtell boys continue to be highly ranked as the Mustangs hold the top overall spot while the Eagles are ranked second after both claimed regional titles last weekend. 

In Class 2A the only ranked area team comes on the boy’s side with McLouth ranked third after winning the Wabaunsee regional on Saturday. 

Other area teams are in the receiving votes categories in several classes with the Centralia girls in 1A, the McLouth and JCN girls along with the JCN boys in 2A, and the Hiawatha girls and Sabetha boys in 3A.
