Four Area Team Ranked in Third Cross Country Coaches Poll

Kansas Cross Country Coaches – Poll #3

The latest cross country coaches poll was released Sunday and four area teams are ranked in the third poll of the year.

In Class 3A the Hiawatha girls are the only ranked team in at No. 5, while on the 1A boys side Axtell continues to be in the top five at No. 3.

The final two ranked teams come in the girl’s rankings in 1A with Doniphan West checking in at No. 2 and Centralia sixth.

Area teams will now have just under two weeks left in the regular season before taking part in regionals on October 26.
