Valley Falls Volleyball Tournament – Results

The high school volleyball season continued over the weekend with area teams competing in the Valley Falls tournament Saturday and the Centralia Panthers won the tournament with a perfect 5-0 record. 

The Panthers collected a 3-0 record in pool play with wins over McLouth, Valley Falls and Oskaloosa before a win over Maur Hill-Mount Academy in the semifinals and a win over Jackson Heights in the championship. 

As to the Cobras they got to the title match by racking up pool play wins over Axtell, Maur Hill and Marantha before a semifinal win over Valley Falls and the loss to Jackson Heights. 

Other results from the Valley Falls tournament include Maur Hill who took third with a 3-2 record while Valley Falls was fourth at 2-3 and Oskaloosa fifth at 3-2.
