Holton Volleyball Takes Third at Rossville Invitational

The Holton Wildcat volleyball team continued its season Saturday competing at the Rossville Invitational and the Lady Cats came away with a third-place finish.

Holton opened the tournament by going 3-1 in pool play picking up wins over Rossville, Clay Center and Osage City but falling to Abilene.

The 3-1 pool play record earned the Lady Cats a spot in the championship semifinals where they fell to Silver Lake before bouncing back to take down Ottawa in the third-place match.

Holton is now 11-6 on the year and will next host a triangular Tuesday night which is set to feature Royal Valley and Hiawatha with live coverage on 103.9 KNZA.
