The high school volleyball season rolled along over the weekend for area team competing at the Jeff West Invitational and it was Royal Valley picking up their second tournament championship of the season beating Silver Lake in three sets which decided the champion.  

The tournament was setup in a round robin format with each team playing each other and the team with the best record winning the championship.

Royal Valley earned two set wins over Jeff West, Oskaloosa, Santa Fe Trail and Valley Falls while earning the three-set win over Silver Lake to go 5-0.

After Royal Valley the best area finish came from Oskaloosa who took third going 3-2 while Jeff West went 2-3 to take fourth.
