Tyler Gerety of Nemaha Central returned opening kickoff of season for a TD. 

Pene Saili of Jeff West had diving 41-yard game winning catch for Jeff West with 14 seconds left to give Tigers 7-0 win.

Hiawatha's Michael Moreno had 6 receptions for 95 yards and a TD and also returned a punt for TD. 

Thad Metcalfe of Perry Lecompton scored five touchdowns on offense and had a fumble recovery and interception on defense.
