Frankfort Wins Twin Valley League Golf Championship

TVL Golf Tournament – Results

For five straight seasons the Frankfort golf team has captured the Twin Valley League championship and Monday afternoon the Wildcats made it championship No. 6 with a win at the Waterville Community Golf Course.

The Wildcats won the meet by 37 strokes with five guys inside of the top 10, led by Josh Tynon who won the meet with an 83 while Branden Bussman finished one stroke behind to take second. Frankfort also Gavin Cornelison and Brandon Anderson each shoot 94 to finish fifth and sixth, while Aiden Gerstner shot a 95 to finish one spot behind in seventh.

Valley Heights finished second as a team with one guy inside of the top 10, as Brady Trimble shot a 91 to take third.

Onaga rounded out area performances with two golfers inside the top 10, led by Tommy Kaberline shot a 95 to take eighth while K.C. Koelzer shot a 96 to finish 10th.
