Atchison Girls Tennis Goes Undefeated at Lafayette

The Atchison girls tennis team had a strong showing in a dual at Lafayette Monday afternoon going a perfect 8-0 on the day.

In singles action Olivia Wabski and Brianna Dove each won matches 8-1, while Jordan Fitkin won 8-3 and Haley Lewis along with Delores Brant each winning 8-4. Brant also picked up an 8-0 win in the final singles match of the day.

In doubles action the team of Dove and Wabski never lost a game winning 8-0, while the team of Fitkin and Lewis won 8-4 to finish out the day for the Lady Red.

Atchison now takes a few days off before traveling to Hayden for an Invitational Tuesday, September 5.
