ACCHS Tiger Wrestlers Compete at Junction City Invitational

The ACCHS Tigers wrestlers traveled to Junction City on Saturday for action and took on plenty of bigger school competition ultimately taking seventh place as a team out of 14 schools in action. 

Hunter Ostertag paced the Tigers on the day with the best finish earning second place after a 3-1 day on the mats that saw him record three pinfall victories and fall in the Championship bout by 8-2 decision. 

A fourth place finish was the second best individual showing for the Tigers on the day as Austin Hager earned that at 106lbs after a 2-2 day on the mats. Three Tigers snagged sixth place finishes as Karl Scholz (126lbs), Dylan Brinkinsha (160lbs) and Ryan Hanshaw (220lbs) posted records of 3-3, 1-3 and 1-3 to finish sixth. 

The Tigers continue their wrestling season at the Marysville Double Dual on February 9th.
