Atchison Falls to #2 Basehor-Linwood

Atchison High knew #2 Basehor-Linwood was going to be good Friday night, and they were, pulling off a 42-12 win over the Redmen.

Bobcat running back Chas Rollo was extraordinary as he accumulated 228 rushing yards on 23 carries and 3 touchdowns in front of a nice crowd for Military Appreciation Night at Amelia Earhart Stadium.

The Redmen provided some fireworks of their own highlighted by a spectacular 97 yard kickoff return from LaMarca Tolbert to begin the second half.  Bryce Enzbrenner hauled in a 35 yard TD pass from Austin Bonnel to account for the Redmen's other score.

Now 6-2 and 0-2 in district play, AHS will host Piper High School Friday night at 7:00.  You can hear it live on KAIR 93.7.
