Goltz Named MVP of SCC All-Star Game

(KLZA)-- The annual Southeast Community College All-Star Basketball games were played Saturday at the Truman Center on the SCC campus in Beatrice. 

The East Squads were victorious in both the girls and boys games.

In the girls contest Falls City Sacred Heart graduated Maggie Goltz led the East to victory with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocked shots and 4 steals to win Most Valuable Player honors. 

The East squad won 57-45.

In the boys game the East won 86-83.  Mitch Faris, a Johnson County Central graduate was among the leading scorers for the East with a dozen points.
