Falls City Baseball Team Picks Up First Win of Season

(KLZA)-- The Falls City High School Baseball team beat East Atchison 11-2 in action at Tarkio Tuesday.  

Falls City took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second and the Wolves came back to take the lead 2-1 in the bottom of the inning.  Falls City tied the game in the third, took the lead in the fifth and then put the game away with 4 runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.

Brett Black and Bradely Rose each had 3 hits for Falls City.  Noah Milam and Brian Rose both had a pair of hits.

Both Bradley and Brian Rose drove in two runs for the Tigers.  

Parker Thompson was the winning pitcher.  Noah Milam started and struck out six in two-and-two-thirds innings pitched and did not give up a hit. Thompson pitched three-and-a-third innings allowing three hits and 2 unearned runs to get the win.

Falls City is now 1-5 on the season.
