Falls City and Auburn Girls to Meet in Sub-District Final

(KLZA)-- The top two seeds in Class C-1, Sub-District 1 advanced in girls pos-season action Tuesday night at Beatrice.  

Top seed Auburn beat Fairbury 54-25.  Freshman Molly Grant had 14 points and classmate Ashley Teten had 13 to lead the Bulldogs.

Falls City led by 12 at the end of three quarters but Wilber-Clatonia stormed back to tie the game and force overtime. The Tigers advanced with a 62-58 win.  

Alyssa Frederick scored 27 points to lead Falls City.  Ryle Scholl scored 13 for the Tigers.  

Falls City and Auburn will meet Thursday night at Beatrice High School for the right to advance to the District finals.
