Southeast Nebraska Wrestlers Strike Gold at State Tournament

Southeast Nebraska wrestlers brought home four gold medals and a silver from the Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament in Omaha last weekend. 

Auburn Senior Nate Moran pinned Paxton Prauner of Battle Creek in 3:49 of the Class C 220 pound title match.  Moran finished the season 41-1.

Bulldog freshman Levid Bridgewater lost a 12-8 decision in the 106 pound title match in Class C. 

Syracuse had three state champions in Class B.  Matt Clark won his third straigh state title at 285 pounds with a 3-1 decision in the title match.  Clark completed a second consecutive undefeated season with a record of 42-0.

At 106 pounts Max Hughes won the title to finish up a 40-3 season and at 152 pountd Ty Snyder won a decision in the title match to finish the year 34-2.
